What is the age criteria?
55 years of age and older, we believe by providing specialized care for our senior citizens and not mix senior s with a younger population. In most cases their needs are different and it enables us to maximize the therapeutic environment.

The geriatric patient requires specialize care because of the many medical needs that can cause numerous problems in the senior adult population. At Oceans we address the mental and physical aspect of every patient admitted to provide the best possible outcome in one’s care.

Yes, there are three types of involuntary admissions:
P.E.C. – Physician Emergency Certificate (Physician)
O.P.C. – Order of Protective Custody (Judicial)
C.E.C. – Coroner Emergency Certificate (Coroner)
